performance documentation (study)
The first component of this work documents the artist surrendering to his surroundings with a white flag. The ‘surrender flags’ were then deposited in the cloak check of seven highly regarded New York galleries. The second component of the work offers the opportunity to claim the flags, returning the tags to complete the performance.
